Based on the cherished novel by Roald Dahl, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory features songs from the original motion picture, including Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley’s "Candy Man," "I've Got a Golden Ticket," "Oompa Loompa Song," and "Pure Imagination." It also adds a magical original score composed by Marc Shaiman with lyrics by Shaiman and Scott Wittman, the wildly inventive writers of Hairspray.
