Mobile Molière:
The Long Path Players
An eccentric 17th-century roaming theatre troupe searches for a stage and an audience for a jumble of Molière’s “greatest hits”. But what happens when the most eccentric of them all, Molière himself, reaches the end of his path? UMKC Theatre’s MFA actors bring their riotous romp of a touring show to local schools, performing some of Molière’s most famous and hilarious scenes.

Venue Requirements:
• 20’ wide x 15’ deep playing area. (Actors are not in mics, so please no gymnasiums. Large auditoriums work only if seating the audience on the stage with the actors or putting audience at the very front seating.)
• 1 hour set up time, in the space clear of students. 30 minutes breakdown time
• A private area to change into costume. Access to a restroom. (Faculty lounge with an attached restroom for changing is ideal.)
Additional notes: all performers vaccinated. When possible, the actors would like to perform without masks. If required the actors will wear clear masks.
