Jessie Paxton

Jessie Paxton is a teaching artist, actor, designer, teacher, coach and dramaturg. She received her Bachelors in Theatre with focuses in Acting and Hair and Makeup from Southwest Baptist University in 2022, and is currently pursuing a Masters in Communication at the University of Central Missouri. Recently Jessie graced the stage with the Bell Road Barn Players in their Radio Plays for the Holidays, and previous credits include Gertrude in Hamlet, Herself in GODSPELL, and Sister Betsy in As It Is In Heaven. She was a part of the Regional Premier of Overture the Musical in Southwest Missouri, and has designed for World Premier plays such as For Such a Time as This by Bethany Vermillion and Mixed Feelings by Christina Foltz. When not on stage or teaching in the classroom, Jessie enjoys traveling to visit friends and family both stateside and out of the country.
