Meredith Murphree

Meredith Murphree (she/her) is a Missouri-based teaching artist, performer, administrator and current MFA candidate in Applied Drama and Theatre for the Young at Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI. At Eastern, Meredith serves as business manager for EMU’s Theatre for the Young Tour, as assistant camp coordinator for Engage@EMU, and graduate assistant in EMU Theatre’s costume shop. She obtained her BA in Theatre with a minor in English from Truman State University in Kirksville, MO. At Truman, she served as co-founder of Truman Theatre Arts Leadership, as business manager for Alpha Psi Omega, and as teaching assistant for both Basic Costuming and Acting II. Meredith has worked with The Coterie Theatre in Kansas City, MO; Maples Repertory Theatre in Macon, MO; Eau Claire Children’s Theatre in Eau Claire, WI; Truman State University Foundation; Kohlenberg Lyceum Series; Harrison, AR Community Choir; and Michigan Student Advocacy Center.
